Cold, tight wires loosen.
Relaxed wire makes springtime swing,
As birds bask warmly.

Lovely, Oneta. We’re going to be swinging here tomorrow, with Oklahoma-force winds coming along. I think I read 50mph. Surely not. But, if they come, I’ll just hang on like one of those birds.
Thanks, shoreacres. We have had wonderful temperatures here for about ten days, but the winds have been notable to say the least! They could give our birdies a great adventure on their wire swings. Someone was telling me about watching a crow rise in the air but it was blown backward when it tried to fly, so it landed and walked. Sounded funny. See if you can hang on and make fun out of it. Won’t be much of an option, huh?
They look happy too. Well written.
Can hear them chirping now.
What an interesting take on prompt
Thank you. I don’t remember having contact with you before. That might mean you are especially fond of haiku, and found me because of that. I’m coming to check your space. Hope to see you more.
